Editing Your Template

Once you’ve selected a website template, youhave the ability to customize the background image, colors, and content.

Editing Template Background Image

To replace the background/header image, go to your site and select “GSB PAGE EDITOR.” Hover your mouse over the top image and select “Row Settings” in the blue bar on the top left. Scroll down to the Background Photo section and click on the blue “Remove” button below the default template image. Once removed, click on the “Select Photo” button. You can upload your own image or use a stock photo. The image resolution needs to be at least 1920X1080 pixels.

Note:You cannot use an image you find on Google or any website on the internet. You must own the rights to that photo. You can purchase an image on a site like bigstockphoto.com. There are also free stock image websites available: pixabay.com, pexels.com, unsplash.com, and picjumbo.com.

Editing Template Header

To edit the header color, select “CUSTOMIZE THEME STYLES.” Go to the Header section and select “Header Style,” “Background Color.” Click on “SELECT COLOR” to choose a new header color for your website. You can also customize the text, link, and hover color in that same section.

Editing Template Logo

To edit the header logo, select “CUSTOMIZE THEME STYLES.” Go to the Header section and select “Header Logo.” You can edit the logo text, or upload an image instead. To upload an image, click on the drop-down menu under “Logo Type” and select “Image.” From there you can upload your logo image.

To edit the footer color, select “CUSTOMIZE THEME STYLES.” Go to the Footer section and select “Footer Style,” “Background Color.” Click on “SELECT COLOR” to choose a new footer color for your website. You can also customize the text, link, and hover color in that same section.

Editing Copyright

To edit the copyright date and description, select “CUSTOMIZE THEME STYLES.” Go to the Footer section and select “Footer Layout.” Select “1 Column,” then “Text” to edit the footer text.

Editing the Site Identity

To update the name of your page, your tagline, and your page icon, please follow the instructions below:

Go to the “GSB Website Builder” and click on “Customize Theme styles.” Once there click on “Settings.” Under “Settings” click on “Site Identity.”

Under “Site Identity” you can update the “Site Title,” “Tagline,” and “Site Icon.” Click on “Select Site Icon” in order to upload your logo or the picture you would like to have as your site icon.
